Yoga in the water is a new and exciting modality for yoga practice! The supportive environment of the pool also allows for a deeper sense of the mind/body connection. Aqua yoga is super low impact, making it an ideal way for those with challenged joints to improve their strength, flexibility and range of motion. This practice is suited for all body types at every age!
Cindy Phillips teaches yoga with the heartfelt intention to awaken others to their highest potential in this life… happiness, fulfillment and pain-free living. Founder of Island Yoga Space, her style of yoga incorporates therapeutic alignment of the body infused with qualities of the heart. A student of yoga since 1998, Cindy has studied many styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Anusara, Yin and Restorative.
